The Greek customs and holidays is the first book of the series «Greek Civilization».
The series is addressed to Greek speaking children, but also to children who learn Greek as a second / foreign language. In addition, the foreign editions (English, French etc.) concern all the children in the world who want to learn more about the Greek civilization, contemporary and older, through topics such as traditions, life experiences, mythology and history, music, art, and other issues that differentiate one culture from another.
Through simple texts, imaginative and funny illustrations, songs, and a variety of other activities, the group of friends – Aris, Miltos, Maria, Tom, Eleni, and Mimis – invite the young readers to participate in the Greek customs and holidays, following the calendar of the school year.
