This book is addressed to teachers, translation specialists and general philologists. It includes research and teaching suggestions concerning Russian studies in Greece and falls within the field of interest of teachers and students of Russian philology. The book highlights the intercultural dimension of translation with special focus to the teaching of Russian as a foreign language. The proposal to compile a corpus (textbook) of texts, following the established levels of language proficiency, is an original proposal with a wide range of applications and prospects for improving teaching with the acquisition of translation experience by students.
